Nice, but the colors are all too saturated and bright. Try mixing dull tones with bright tones to make important things pop. Right now my eyes don't know where to look and I feel overwhelmed.

Hmm. So you mean to make the background with dull colors and the character with bright colors to emphasize a focal point? If so, I'll keep that in mind next time. Thanks for your critique.
Is that a base? Eek eek eek! I see you used the spray tool or very soft brush for everything. Never do that! It gives everything an amateur look, and fails to capture the proper texture of most things other than skin and clouds. Although it can be intimidating, try using harder brushes for most things, I can promise you it will look better! Good luck!
oh.. and thanks for the advice!!!! I took it.. and though it took A LOT more work.. IT TOTALLY WORKS!!! :) Looks more professional!!! THX again!
Pretty good, but something that distracts me is the placement of her breasts. They look a bit unnatural. Also, the lower facial structure is bugging me for some reason. I think it's that the mouth is too low, possibly. The goggles also need some shading. I do like the color scheme, though! Very nice.
oh god the real Molly from Oban star racers will crush your brain them ,+ they have no Nose hahaha
This was just a test to see how she would look on my hands, I might do another one of her driving her star racer.
I understand you were going for abnormally large breasts for a small girl, but this isn't the way to do it. As a rule of thumb, if they're bigger than her head, it's usually TOO big, especially on a little person. Good job with the background, and remember to be sure to draw a defined shadow.
thanks for your imput this is usually what i consider pushing the limits, where as others do roomsized and mega super huge. its funny as time goes on i slowly make them smaller, on ocasion i do pics like this tho.
Love the atmosphere.
Thanks :)
Love the texture used here. I love Ben's character, he's my favorite on the show.
Love the pose and super envious of the foreshortening you did there. If I had to make one criticism, I'd say that the shading on this piece makes everything look clay-like and plain. Hair should be a different kind of texture than skin, and her staff I assume is metal, and should be shined as such. Love it none the less.
Yeah actually, i was trying to make the shading look clay-like, because i was inspired by someone who doesn't really shade clay-like, but he inspired me to do so for some reason, i thought it would look cool, but i didn't mean to make it look plain haha, i still like that effect anyway haha. Also yeah, i got lazy with the hair, and the staff is supposed to be wood but still it doesn't look like wood so i'm guilty of that too haha
I love the color scheme, but this doesn't seem like it took much thought or planning. I could whip this out in less than five minutes, easy.
Not adding description was my bad point.
I made this while learning new software UI.
Sure you can, but before first time you must read how to do this from tutorials or somehow find yourself.
I disagree with ShadowX90, I don't think she looks too cross-eyed, and I love the mouth. Proportionally, the breasts are too big, and the legs look really wonky, they get too thin compared to her thighs. Overall though I like it, very cool and stylized.
Love this! So creative, great shading, and I love the pink light being reflected.
